Securence Alternative: Migrate to MXGuardian Before November 11
Move your email filtering to MXGuardian before the deadline. We’ll help migrate your domains, users and mail flow—and Securence customers can use MXGuardian free through November 11.
Securence has announced that its email filtering service will be permanently discontinued on November 11, 2026.
If your organization currently uses Securence for inbound email filtering, outbound email relay, or both, you will need to migrate to a new email security provider before the shutdown date to avoid disruption to your email service.
MXGuardian can help you make the transition.
A Straightforward Replacement for Securence Email Filtering
MXGuardian is a cloud-based email security and spam filtering service designed to work with:
- Microsoft 365
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Exchange
- Hosted email providers
- On-premises mail servers
- Other SMTP-compatible email systems
Like Securence, MXGuardian sits between the Internet and your existing email system, filtering inbound email before it reaches your users.
MXGuardian can also relay and filter outbound email for customers using our outbound filtering service.
What Happens to Securence on November 11?
According to Securence, its filtering service will stop accepting both incoming and outgoing email after November 11, 2026.
Organizations still routing email through Securence after the shutdown may experience email delivery failures.
Migrating typically involves changing your MX records and, if you use Securence for outbound relay, updating your outbound mail routing configuration.
Depending on your configuration, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records may also need to be reviewed or updated.
We Can Help With Your Migration
You don’t have to figure out the transition on your own.
The MXGuardian team can assist with:
- Setting up your MXGuardian account
- Adding and configuring your domains
- Importing users
- Migrating allow and block lists
- Updating MX records
- Configuring Microsoft 365 or your mail server
- Configuring outbound smart-host routing
- Reviewing SPF, DKIM and DMARC settings
- Testing inbound and outbound mail flow
- Coordinating your cutover from Securence
Securence customers can export their existing user list and allow/block lists from the Securence administration portal before the service is discontinued.
Avoid Paying for Two Email Filtering Services
For organizations migrating from Securence, MXGuardian service is free through November 11, 2026.
You can migrate before the shutdown, test your configuration, and complete your cutover without paying for overlapping filtering services.
After November 11, MXGuardian’s normal month-to-month pricing applies, starting as low as $0.55 per user depending on account size. There are no long-term contracts, and aliases, distribution lists and additional domains don’t increase your user count.
Email Security Without the Enterprise Complexity
MXGuardian provides advanced email security without requiring you to deploy appliances or replace your existing email platform.
Features include:
- Spam and phishing protection
- Malware and virus scanning
- Attachment filtering
- URL and content filtering
- User quarantine
- Message tracking and search
- Allow and block lists
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC support
- Inbound and outbound email filtering
- Microsoft 365 integration
- Google Workspace integration
Using Securence Through an MSP?
We also work with Managed Service Providers and IT companies that need to migrate multiple customer domains.
MXGuardian supports centralized management of multiple customers and offers reseller and white-label options.
If you currently manage Securence filtering for multiple organizations, contact us to discuss a bulk migration. We can help you move customers in stages rather than attempting to migrate your entire customer base at once.
Don’t Wait Until November 11
Email filtering migrations are usually straightforward, but DNS changes and mail-flow configuration should be completed and tested before Securence shuts down.
Starting early gives you time to verify inbound delivery, outbound relay, allow lists, filtering policies and authentication records before the deadline.
