Pricing FAQ

Q: How does the free trial work?
A: Creating an account is simple and doesn’t require a credit card. You can use all features free for 30 days. We will send you a friendly reminder near the end of your trial. If you love the service and want to continue, just enter your payment details at my time during the trial. You will not be billed until the end of your 30 day trial period.

Q: How do you define a user?
A: At MXGuardian, a “user” is defined as an individual who benefits from our service. There is no charge for aliases and distribution groups when correctly configured in your account. Our pricing is determined by the total number of users across all domains in your account.

Q: Will there be any downtime when I sign up?
A: Our onboarding process can be completed with no downtime. When you create an account and add your first domain, we will send you instructions on where to point your MX record. Once you change your MX record, there is a transition period (depending on your TTL setting) which can be from a few minutes to a few hours. During the transition period all mail will be delivered, but some mail will go through MXGuardian and some may go directly to your mail server (or previous provider).

Q: What if I want to cancel?
A: There is no contract and you can cancel at any time. You can cancel your service by logging into your account and clicking the “Cancel my account” link on the Billing page. Before you do this, please make sure your MX records are not pointing to our servers.

Q: Can I resell your service to my customers?
A: Yes! If you are an MSP or hosting provider looking to resell our services, we offer a white-label reseller program. You get special discounts plus the ability to brand the control panel with your company name and logo. There is no cost, but you must fill out an application.
